Psychosis, Schizophrenia Section

We discussed it, I know, but I still believe psychosis and schizophrenia deserve a section for itsef live bipolar or depression.
Because maybe there are many like me who doesn't find where to post about there illness, only the meds.
Don't believe schizos are either high functionning (thanks to the meds) or vegetable, lot of people are dealing with it, I have a lot of negative side effects, I stay indoors a lot of the time, I cut contacts with nearly all my friends, cutting more contacts as time go, also people are fleeinng, scared ....
Ya know, 50% of schizos try to commit suicide, 10% succeed. So maybe a place for them to talk could be a great thing, maybe it could save life.
The only ppl I can trust an talk to are the pdoc (barely and strangely) and the ppl in my condition, and I don't know much of them !!
What do you think about this idea ?
What would it cost ?
I know it woudln't be as active as the rest... schizos have a hard time writing, speaking, in fact, I'm french, and in my everyday life, words pop up in english, and I can't do nothing about it, so here, I feel good, I feel at home. I don't have to try to translate. I just speak. But yet, words want to take the place of other words in my mind, it's a war out there...
But shouldn't we give it a try ?
Thanks for reading.

I would be interested in another forum to post in. I don't venture out of the comfortable range to much yet.

Especially a site by and for the crazy. I've yet to find a site with a schizophrenia section that is run by the mentally interesting. Almost every site I know of that is specifically for schizophrenia is run by, and primarily for family and 'caregivers.' It's the same patronizing attitude as with the autistic and it disgusts me.

This is what finally got me off of my ass to create this board, because it reminded me the latest round of anti-crazy bigotry from NPR, Huffington Post and other bastions of liberal groupthink. In their effort to avoid even raising the questions of what parts religion or nationality may or may not have played in the Fort Hood event they dug and dug for the slightest hint of crazy. Long before the rumor of an insanity defense plea.

That's correct.
Plus I was counting them as a former incarnation of a Crazy Meds forum when I wrote about no other site not run by the crazy etc.
