This thread kind of gives me courage to come out as having The Crazy to friends of mine, but...then again, the stigma is so unbelievable out there, that I'd rather not. Too scary. Very few people know I have it, and I kind of push people away so they don't know about the medications I take-too many questions.

I tell others very readily. I say it matter of factly and with dignity. Often it has allowed others to open up and have someone to talk to about their own struggles. Some people do react with stigma, but that is because they lack education about mental health. Then I decide if I will ignore them or educate them.

Current meds: (newly added) Abilify 2mg, titrating up to 5-10mg. Ritalin 20mg BID, Wellbutrin XL 450mg, Inderal 10-20mg PRN, Xanax .25-.5mg PRN, Guanfacine 1-2mg PRN.
Past Meds: Adderall XR 15mg, 25mg and 30mg, Vyvanse 40mg, Concerta 27mg, 36mg, 54mg, Ritalin LA 2x 20mg, Prozac 20mg, Lexapro 10mg, Zoloft 25mg, Seroquel (many dosages), Daily regimen of xanax - now tapered off and used PRN, Adderall IR 10mg and 20mg
