Is it safe to take them together,? I'm in my washout period before taking nardil and I would love to take my trazodone. However, it it is contraindicated, (as drugs.com says), I'll be screwed if I take it now. It would reset my washout. Any advice appreciated!

The next few days to weeks are going to be almost impossibly difficult. Jumping off Sub is some serious shit. My friends, please bear with me :), LOL.

Medications:

Lamictal (generic lamotrigine by Zydus Cadila) 200 mg once daily in the evening

Suboxone Film (brand-name buprenorphine hcl/naloxone hcl sublingual film by Reckitt Benckiser) 2/0.5 mg once daily

****Finally down to just Lamictal, YAY! Also about to "jump" off of Suboxone for good****

Diagnoses:
1. Bipolar 2 (predominantly depressed phase)
2. Substance Use Disorder
-in early remission

Two years ago, in deep depression, I could have never believed my life would get better. After great medical intervention and a lot of work, it finally is. If you are desperate right now, having terrible depression and anxiety, please hold on! Things can get better. Find the treatment options that work for you. Never, ever, ever, ever give up. Brand new sexy-ass boyfriend helps, too :P

My life is a toxic-people-free zone :)

James,

Try calling a pharmacist and see if they know anything...be warned though...my pharmacist was an idiot when I tried to get information about Nardil but in general, they should know.

It's offline so I can't check to be sure, but I think your answer is here: http://www.thecarlat...general/TCR.pdf

(The answer being, yes, small amounts of Traz for sleep are okay.)

Hi James,
I take 90mg Nardil and was prescribed Trazodone for sleep. Can't find the bottle right now but it was a fairly low dose.
HTH,
Pete

I love the smell of Nardil in the morning. The smell, you know that chemical smell. Smells like victory. Some day this war's gonna end...
