Impulse.

Wellbutrin time again. This is my third time. Second time this year.

It blocks the fun effects of amphetamines and other uppers. With the long washout, it kind of polices my behavior when I'm not feeling like adhering to the stimulant-free plan I need to follow.

I had a seizure after drinking quite a bit on Wellbutrin the first time, so it curbs that, too. Like the little voice in the back of my head that I never had. Now if it can get me to keep a job I'll essentially be on autopilot.

On a serious note, I'm trying this to get me through the testosterone adjustment period. Fatigue be gone, foul sluggish demon.

If this doesn't work, I'll try to re-debate the addition of modafinil with my doctor.

Going to reinstate my gym membership.

I'm going to balance the shit out of my mental health.

(Also, I'm in my early twenties and I've been having weird cardiac-related sensations with any kind of stimulant lately. Thus, must stop. Thanks, Welly.)

yea, one of the unfortunate things is that I cannot socially drink while on wellbutrin. Like literally one beer would make me feel so sick all night and the next day after that. I'm terrified of seizures (have you ever had one before without wellbutrin? what dose are you on)

That's too bad. I've never noticed nausea or any adverse effect aside from that one time.

That one time was the only time I ever had a seizure. Years ago; I was 16 or so. I believe I was on 150mg/day but I was super skinny: under 100lb. I don't know how much weight factors into Wellbutrin dosing.

No history of seizures in my family either.

For what it's worth, it wasn't that bad. Heh. I hit my head a few times on the way down, that's all.

Welbutrin causes me to have heart palpitations. They say they aren't harmful, I have been checked out at the ER for them. I still need to do a follow up with my doc soon.

Have you had it checked out yet?

I actually have a history of cardiac abnormalities. I should have included that.

Identified around middle school, I stopped taking the beta blockers in college when I got serious about working out. I performed regular stress tests and they all came out fine - even without the beta blockers. For that reason, they allowed me to actually discontinue the beta blockers and stress tests.

That was several years ago. Since then I've regularly taken all kinds of stimulants without ill effect. It wasn't until maybe two months ago that I started noticing it. This coincided with the time where I started to use amphetamine (European speed; not methamphetamine but regular amphetamine hcl or sulfate or something).

I have a hard time believing street-quality stuff caused any lasting effect. We'll see, I suppose.

(Also, I'm sending beams of sun/empathy to you because I know how stressful heart issues can be.)
